· At Bijou Lab, we craft all of our jewelry pieces to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. We offer a complimentary Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty against manufacturing defects on all of our fine jewelry. This Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty applies to structural damages that can be traced back to the manufacturing of your piece, resulting in manufacturing defects. The warranty does NOT include coverage for general wear and tear, negligence, accidents, loss and theft.

· The Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty guarantees that our jewelry will be free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery (prior to being worn). If a warranty issue is found, Bijou Lab will repair the warrantied damage or replace the item without charge. In the event that there seems to be a defect with any jewelry piece, please contact us directly so we may evaluate your piece.

Clients are responsible for shipping costs to and from our repair workshop. You may purchase a prepaid insured label through us for $75 for jewelry valued under $5K, and $95 for jewelry valued over $5K by emailing our support team. Please contact us before you send your jewelry back on your own, so we can be sure it arrives safely.

We typically cannot repair or resize jewelry if shipped outside of the US, however, if a manufacturing defect is found, we will replace your jewelry at no cost.

Bijou Lab provides a lifetime warranty on all of our rings to cover the following services: free replacement of small side stones (valued under 200 usd), tightening loose prongs, and polishing.

• Our warranty does not include the replacement of lost center/focal stones that are valued over $200. We recommend you obtain insurance for your piece for the unlikely event of a focal stone falling out or getting damaged.
• Clients are responsible for shipping costs (to and from our studio) for cleanings, inspections, and repair work. Please note: Warranty does not include international orders. We've learned it is not worth the risk to ship the ring across borders for simple procedures that can be taken care of more safely and efficiently locally. Our international clients are still covered under our manufacturer's warranty.
• This warranty does not cover incidental damage, abuse or loss, for example, if you close your ring in a drawer and the ring cracks or prong bends back or if you lose your ring at the beach. We strongly recommend getting jewelry insurance for this kind of damage or loss.
• If you need repairs that go beyond these services, we’ll let you know about the labor costs and material fees associated with your service.

· The Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty is applicable to all Bijou Lab gold and/or platinum jewelry settings.

· The Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty covers structural (setting) damage resulting from manufacturing defects.

· The Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty guarantees that our jewelry will be free from manufacturing defects or we will replace your setting.

· The Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty is automatically applied to each Bijou Lab jewelry purchase and is only available to the original purchaser

· The Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty does not cover theft or loss

· The Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty does not cover damage due to abuse or misuse of your Bijou Lab jewelry piece

There may be variances in product dimensions due to casting, and the hand-finished nature of Bijou Lab jewelry. Dimensional tolerances in production are as follows:

Settings: +/- 0.2mm

Diamonds: + 0.2 carats

We very strongly recommend clients obtain independent jewelry insurance. This can be done by purchasing jewelry insurance through a company such as Jeweler’s Mutual. Having an insurance policy can protect your ring against damage, loss, or theft.

· Any flaws and/or damages outside of the Warranty and Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty will be assessed by the Bijou Lab Team. Based on the evaluation, clients will be provided repair options (on a case by case basis) and a quote for the work. The client is responsible for all shipping fees incurred when sending the ring to and from Bijou Lab for repair.
