Our warranty is designed to protect you against defects in the materials or craftsmanship of your piece. If you ever notice something that doesn’t seem right, please reach out to us so we can review the concern with you.

When needed, your jewelry will be carefully inspected to determine the cause of the issue. If we determine that the problem is the result of a defect in materials or craftsmanship, we’ll take care of the repair or replacement at no cost to you.

Because fine jewelry naturally changes with wear, not every repair is the result of a craftsmanship defect. Issues caused by everyday wear, accidental impact, routine maintenance, or outside alterations fall outside of warranty coverage, but we’re always happy to help you understand your options and determine the best next step.

Caring for your jewelry

While every Bijou ring is designed to be worn and enjoyed for a lifetime, fine jewelry naturally requires care and maintenance over time. Precious metals and settings can be affected by everyday wear, accidental impact, and outside alterations.

The Bijou Craftsmanship Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, routine maintenance, accidental damage, loss or theft, or damage caused by repairs or alterations performed by another jeweler. This includes issues such as bent or damaged prongs, loose or lost stones resulting from wear or impact, scratches, dents, misshaping, and finish wear.

If your ring needs repair

We want you to feel supported long after your jewelry arrives. If you ever have a concern about your piece, please reach out to us before sending it in. We’ll carefully review the issue and determine whether it falls under the Bijou Craftsmanship Warranty.  

If a repair falls outside of warranty coverage, we’ll guide you through the available options and provide a quote for your approval before any work begins.

Additional Information

The Bijou Craftsmanship Warranty is included with every new Bijou Lab jewelry purchase and applies to the original purchaser.

Clients are responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty and repair services. For U.S. clients, insured UPS shipping labels are available for purchase through our team.

We also strongly recommend protecting your jewelry with a dedicated jewelry insurance policy. Insurance can provide coverage for things such as accidental damage, loss, theft, and other circumstances that fall outside of our craftsmanship warranty.

Within 6 months of your purchase date for our US customers, we offer one complimentary resizing. 

Because engagement rings are worn every day, they are naturally exposed to accidental impacts, normal wear, and the possibility of loss or theft over time. While the Bijou Craftsmanship Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, it does not cover accidental damage, wear-related repairs, loss, or theft.

For this reason, we strongly recommend obtaining jewelry insurance through a dedicated provider, such as Jewelers Mutual, as soon as you receive your ring. Jewelry insurance can provide valuable protection for accidental damage, repairs, loss, theft, and other unexpected events, giving you added peace of mind for one of your most cherished possessions.
