Every Bijou ring is meticulously crafted to the highest standards of quality, durability, and craftsmanship. We proudly stand behind our work with the Bijou Craftsmanship Warranty, included with every new Bijou Lab jewelry purchase.

If your jewelry experiences a problem, our manufacturing team will inspect the piece to determine its cause. If the issue is found to be the result of a defect in our materials or craftsmanship, we will repair or replace your jewelry at no cost.

What Isn't Covered

While every Bijou ring is designed to be worn and enjoyed for a lifetime, fine jewelry is not indestructible. Like a vehicle, it requires routine care and maintenance to keep it performing at its best. Daily wear and accidental impacts can place stress on precious metals and settings over time.

For this reason, the Bijou Craftsmanship Warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Routine maintenance, including prong tightening, polishing, refinishing, rhodium plating, and resizing
• Damage from hitting, dropping, or catching your jewelry
• Bent, worn, or broken prongs
• Loose or lost stones caused by impact or worn prongs
• Cracked or broken settings resulting from accidental impact
• Scratches, dents, or misshaping from everyday wear
• Damage caused by repairs or alterations performed by another jeweler
• Loss or theft

If Your Jewelry Needs Repair

If you believe your jewelry has experienced a craftsmanship issue, please contact us before sending it in. Our manufacturing team will inspect the piece to determine whether the repair is covered under the Bijou Craftsmanship Warranty.

If the repair is not covered, we'll provide a repair quote before any work is completed.

Additional Information

• The Bijou Craftsmanship Warranty is included with every new Bijou Lab jewelry purchase and is non-transferable.
• Clients are responsible for shipping costs to and from our repair workshop. Insured UPS shipping labels are available for purchase through our team.
• We strongly recommend protecting your jewelry with a dedicated jewelry insurance policy, as most policies cover accidental damage, loss, theft, and many wear-related repairs that are not covered under our craftsmanship warranty.

Within 6 months of your purchase date for our US customers, we offer one complimentary resizing. Clients are responsible for insured shipping fees to and from the studio, please see below.

Resizing a ring always results in a small loss of metal due to polishing so we recommend having your ring size properly measured before ordering your ring. We recommend sizing your finger at least 2-3x with a metal sizer at different times of day; often times fingers change sizes depending on the time of day, after eating, working out, and the temperature/season (most people tend to be 1/2 size larger in the summertime). THIS is the exact gold standard sizer we use and recommend purchasing.

Full eternity bands or engravings cannot be resized.

Euro Shanks can be resized but do not qualify for free resizing and will incur an additional fee.

If the client chooses to have their ring resized at a local jeweler, this service will not void our warranty.

Outside of the 6 month complimentary resize period, rings can be resized for a fee.

Specially modified shanks like euro shanks or hand engraved rings like the Amalfi are resizable at cost and are not covered by the free resizing policy.

We do not accept resizing requests for international orders.

What's not covered:

• Damage caused by wear and tear, accidents or improper care (e.g., scratches, dents, bending from impact, exposure to harsh chemicals).
• This warranty does not cover incidental damage, abuse or loss, for example, if you close your ring in a drawer and the ring cracks or prong bends back or if you lose your ring at the beach. We strongly recommend getting third party jewelry insurance for wear and tear damage or loss.
• Lost or stolen rings or stones.
• Center stone replacements.
• Repairs or modifications performed by third parties.
• If you need repairs that go beyond these services, we’ll let you know about the labor costs and material fees associated with your service.

Note: This warranty is non-transferable, applies only to the original purchaser, and is available to U.S.-based clients only.

There may be variances in product dimensions due to casting, and the hand-finished nature of Bijou Lab jewelry. Dimensional tolerances in production are as follows:

Settings: +/- 0.2mm

Diamonds: + 0.2 carats

Because engagement rings are worn every day, they are naturally exposed to accidental impacts, normal wear, and the possibility of loss or theft over time. While the Bijou Craftsmanship Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, it does not cover accidental damage, wear-related repairs, loss, or theft.

For this reason, we strongly recommend obtaining jewelry insurance through a dedicated provider, such as Jewelers Mutual, as soon as you receive your ring. Jewelry insurance can provide valuable protection for accidental damage, repairs, loss, theft, and other unexpected events, giving you added peace of mind for one of your most cherished possessions.
