With every engagement ring purchase, you fund access to education for children in Liberia, a country that has been devastated by the effects of diamond mining.
Our goal is to do more than just not hurt communities afflicted by industry practices.

However, Africa is in an education crises. There are millions of children without access to school.
Our Rings Fund Education
We are proud to partner with Girl Power Africa. Each year, founder Bulleh and the GPA team travel to Liberia to register children for school and personally purchase and distribute uniforms, backpacks, shoes, school supplies, and anti-malaria medicine. Their mission goes beyond funding tuition, they ensure every child is healthy, prepared, and fully equipped to walk into the classroom ready to learn.
Through Bijou Lab, we've already funded a full year of education and essential care for more than 110 children, covering tuition, school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and medicine. Today, we're committed to sponsoring at least 20 new students each quarter. As Bijou Lab grows, so does our commitment to helping more children access the education they deserve.
Traceability
The diamond mining industry continues to be opaque. Gems are often passed and sold through dozens of diamond traders before reaching the consumer, resulting in the ambiguity in sourcing.
At Bijou Lab, custom cutting our diamonds directly from a small scale lab diamond manufacturer gives us the ability to know the labor practices are ethical. While lab-grown diamonds aren’t a "perfect" solution as they still require significant energy to create, the process is transparent, traceable, and built on fair, human connections.
