Shipping
We ship all domestic orders via UPS 2nd day air or Fedex 2 Day. To ensure your package arrives safely with all orders, we require signature upon delivery. Once your jewelry ships, our team will email you with a tracking number so you can keep an eye on the shipment.
We will notify you before your order is fulfilled and shipped. Please do not hesitate to inform us if your address changes while we’re in the process of creating your custom design.
Our shipping partners will attempt 3 deliveries and if no one is available to sign for the package, it will be returned to us. We will contact you to make arrangements for reshipment. Any reshipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
We ship internationally via UPS or DHL, please anticipate up to 1-2 weeks, sometimes more for customs clearance. All items will be declared at their full value. All import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note your delivery will be delayed if you do not pay duty/tax when prompted!
All international shipments will be shipped with signature required.
PLEASE NOTE: Please be aware that your country may charge you additional import/customs fees to release your package from customs. You are fully responsible for paying these fees.
Orders will NOT be refunded for failure/refusal to pay customs fees.
Please note that Bijou Lab items shipped outside of the US may not be in accordance with specific standards of the destination country indicated in the shipping address provided. Bijou Lab is NOT responsible for determining which products can be legally imported into countries outside of the US.
Returns
Each made to order ring is custom-crafted exclusively for its intended wearer. For this reason, we’re unable to accept returns or offer refunds. We appreciate your understanding as we create your piece with the utmost care.
We accept returns on our One of a Kind rings. Please note this does not include rings made to order in 6-8 weeks and only applies to rings that are already made. Returns will incur a 10% restocking fee. Items must be postmarked within 4 days of receipt.
Items must be in their original unworn, unscratched, pristine condition with no exchanged or missing stones and must include the original Bijou Lab packaging, certification, and boxes. Customers requesting refunds will be refunded the full amount less a 10% restocking fee and a return shipping label, if requested.
Rings which have been resized are non-refundable.
Made To Order Rings
All of our collection pieces (all rings not in the Ready to Ship section) are made to order and cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded. This includes any jewelry designed with our Custom Design Process, Semi-custom rings, and all pieces from our Signature collection as they are made to order, just for you.
We greatly appreciate your business and we want you to be thrilled with your jewelry. If for any reason you are not, please contact us immediately with your concerns and we’ll take care of you.
Cancellations
We do not accept cancellations on our pieces as we begin your production immediately once an order is placed and each ring is created completely made-to-order for each client.
If you need to request a change, please reach out to us immediately and we will do our best to accommodate. A fee will be assessed based on the work already completed. Custom sourced stones are not eligible for change.
If you ordered a jewelry item that is eligible for return and wish to cancel, it will be considered a return and will incur a restocking fee.
If your Ready to Ship item has been resized to your specified size, it is considered final sale and not eligible for cancellation as it is not fair for us to offer a ring that has previously been resized to the next customer. Thank you for your understanding!
Resizing
Within 6 months of your purchase date for our US customers, we offer one complimentary resizing. Clients are responsible for insured shipping fees to and from the studio, please see below.
Resizing a ring always results in a small loss of metal due to polishing and loosening of pave stones (we will re-tighten as needed, but resizing pave is never as robust as the initial setting) so we strongly recommend having your ring size properly measured before ordering your ring. We recommend sizing your finger at least 2-3x with a metal sizer at different times of day or for free at a local jewelers; often times fingers change sizes depending on the time of day, after eating, working out, and the temperature/season (most people tend to be 1/2 size larger in the summertime). It's important to accurately measure the ring size after proposal since most rings should only be resized 2-3 times total in their lifetime (each resizing is like a minor surgery, it is best not to do it over and over again).
We’ve included our recommended resizing limitations below. Resizing beyond these limitations can put the ring at risk for long term durability issues such as losing pave stones or becoming misshapen.
Full eternity bands cannot be resized.
If the client chooses to have their ring resized at a local jeweler, this service will NOT void our warranty.
Please note eternity rings cannot be resized due to their design. Outside of the 6 month complimentary resize period, rings can be resized for a fee.
We do not accept resizing requests or returns for international orders.
