Shipping & Returns


We ship all domestic orders via UPS 2nd day air or Fedex 2 Day. To ensure your package arrives safely with all orders, we require signature upon delivery. Once your jewelry ships, our team will email you with a tracking number so you can keep an eye on the shipment.

We will notify you before your order is fulfilled and shipped. Please do not hesitate to inform us if your address changes while we’re in the process of creating your custom design. 

Our shipping partners will attempt 3 deliveries and if no one is available to sign for the package, it will be returned to us. We will contact you to make arrangements for reshipment. Any reshipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. 

We ship internationally via UPS or DHL, please anticipate up to 1-2 weeks for customs clearance. All items will be declared at their full value. All import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer, not Bijou Lab.

Please note your delivery will be delayed if you do not pay duty/tax when prompted!

All international shipments will be shipped with signature required.

PLEASE NOTE: Please be aware that your country may charge you additional import/customs fees to release your package from customs. You are fully responsible for paying these fees.

Custom orders will NOT be refunded for failure/refusal to pay customs fees.

Reshipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. 

If you are returning your item to us from outside of the United States, we are not liable for any import/customs fees that may be required by your mail courier. Failure to pay custom fees will result in them being deducted from your refund.

Please note that Bijou Lab items shipped outside of the US may not be in accordance with specific standards of the destination country indicated in the shipping address provided. Bijou Lab is NOT responsible for determining which products can be legally imported into countries outside of the US.


We greatly appreciate your business and we want you to be thrilled with your jewelry. If for any reason you are not, please contact us immediately with your concerns and we’ll take care of you. 

Our Signature range and Custom orders are all non-refundable/nonreturnable as they are all made to order, just for you.

At Bijou Lab we are happy offer 14 day returns or exchanges for our in stock and ready to wear items.

For a full refund, the jewelry must be postmarked back to us within 7 days of the day you received it. The pieces must be unworn and accompanied by all original packaging. Your refund will include full purchase price less a 10% restocking fee and shipping charges. Before returning anything, please contact us for for instructions on how to return--no returns will be made without prior authorization. We will provide you with an insured and tracked return shipping label; shipping charges will be deducted from your refund. Bijou Lab is not responsible for packages dropped off in Drop Boxes, or unstaffed locations. Obtain a receipt to confirm that the item has been shipped - this receipt will act as proof of insurance.

We are not responsible for items lost in the mail and should this occur, no refund will be possible.

Jewelry determined misused or taken to a third-party jeweler is not eligible for return.

Please allow Bijou Lab up to 7 business days to process returns and inspect returned jewelry, from the date on which your return is received. Returns are at the sole discretion of Bijou Lab based on the condition of the jewelry. If there are any signs of wear, damage or tampering Bijou Lab retains the right to refuse refund. Once inspected and approved, your return will be completed and you will receive an email with details about your refund. Refunds will be made via the original method of payment. Please allow time for the refund to be processed. All refunds will be made in USD. There may be minor discrepancies based on exchange rates.

Custom Jewelry Returns

Custom made pieces cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded. This includes any jewelry designed with our Custom Design Process, pieces designed completely from scratch, and pieces from our Signature collection as they are made to order, just for you.


We do not accept cancellations on our pieces as we begin your order immediately once you place it and they are created completely made-to-order for each client.

If you are creating a custom piece and cancel before the order has gone into production, you will be refunded minus a $250 CAD and design consultation fee (typically waived with all custom orders).

If you ordered a jewelry item that is eligible for return and wish to cancel, it will be considered a return and is subject to our return policy restocking fee.

Small Stones Replacement

We offer complimentary replacement of pavé stones (2mm or less) within the first full year of receiving the ring in the event that they fall out of your setting.

The client is responsible for all shipping fees incurred when sending the ring to and from Bijou Lab  for repair. It is typical for repairs to take 4-5 weeks from the date the ring is received.

Alternatively, to save on shipping and transit time, we can ship you the small stone(s) for repair at your local jeweler. After the first year, repairs will be priced at cost. Having side stones replaced at your local jeweler will not void your jewelry warranty.


Within 6 months of when your purchase is available for shipment for our US customers, we offer one complimentary resizing for our standard ring styles. There are limitations to resizing.

Resizing a ring always results in loss of metal due to polishing and loosening of pave stones (we will re-tighten as needed, but it is sometimes not as robust as the initial setting) so we strongly recommend having your ring size properly measured before ordering your ring.

We’ve included our resizing limitations below. Resizing beyond these limitations puts the ring at risk for long term durability issues such as losing pave stones or becoming misshapen.

Solitaires with 2.2mm+ bands: +/- 2 sizes

Solitaires with 1.8mm - 2mm bands: +/- 1 size

Rings with Pave Bridge: +/- ½ size

Solitaires with ½ pave bands: +/- ¾ size

Solitaires with ¾ pave bands: +/- ½ size

3 stone settings: +/- ½ size

Full eternity bands and rings with birthstone details cannot be resized.

The client is responsible for shipping charges to and from Bijou Lab for their complimentary resizing. Please send your ring with tracked, insured shipping with signature confirmation as we will not be liable for lost or damaged packages. We are also able to provide an insured shipping label for a fee.

Please note that resizing can take up to four weeks, sometimes longer if the ring needs to be re-engraved.

Alternatively, if the client chooses to have their ring resized at a local jeweler, this service will not void our warranty.

Please note our eternity rings cannot be resized due to their design. Custom, modified, and engraved rings are subject to resize fees. Outside of the 6 month complimentary resize period, rings can be resized for a fee when within the jeweler’s recommended sizing range. Please reach out to us at to begin the process. 

Complimentary Care Plan

We offer one free yearly cleaning, prong check, prong tightening, and polish for any Bijou Lab engagement ring or wedding ring purchased through us. Eligible to the original purchaser only. Shipping to and from is the responsibility of the customer and we are not responsible for any packages lost, damaged or stolen so we strongly encourage you to ship with an insured, tracked and signature required mailing service.

Please reach out to us before shipping your ring back and we will provide you with further instructions. If you have a thin band, we recommend limiting the number of polishes, as polishing your ring removes a thin layer of metal each time.
