We had a truly incredible experience with Bijou Lab. My partner proposed with a Ring Pop so he could surprise me and then design the ring thereafter. We looked at many, many rings and kept coming back to this design. We were able to create this as a semi-custom project by substituting a one-sided classic pave bridge with sapphires. Megan promptly answered my many questions, helping us decide everything from carat size to sending videos of multiple different color options of sapphires to helping us figure out if this ring would stack flush with a band from another jeweler (it will!) Furthermore, two days after we had placed the order I saw on the Bijou Lab instagram a story of a ring with a European shank and they were able to add that on to the ring for a $250 additional charge. I don't have a traditional ring to compare it to, but my top-heavy ring does not spin and is very comfortable so I am very glad we went with this shank style. Another consideration is that Michelle chooses the diamond (within the parameters of the carat size you choose, D/E color, and VVS/VS1 clarity). This is different than a lot of the other online jewelers where they have those huge databases of diamonds. We knew we wanted a lab diamond but were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choices and being able to evaluate a stone based on a single online 360 video. With the ring in hand, I am so grateful we trusted Michelle and the diamond on my hand is the most brilliant one I have ever seen in person. I feel so lucky and grateful that we went with Bijou Lab - they were so kind, patient, responsive, and now I have a delicate and durable engagement ring that I am proud to wear.
